Meet The 2011 Prairie Garden
The 2011 edition of The Prairie Garden featuring the theme of Healthy Gardening is now available. Each year The Prairie Garden editorial committee embraces a new theme. This year the Committee has responded to the overwhelming interest in healthier gardening practices, including the health of the gardeners themselves. Gardening today has a vast number of exciting possibilities.
The 2011 edition of The Prairie Garden is the 72nd anniversary edition of this popular digest-sized garden annual with a bonus of 200 pages, the largest ever. It is the only publication of its type in Western Canada. The Healthy Gardening theme focuses on the conditions and growing concerns of the northern Great Plains. Articles from many prairie horticultural contributors explore the health of the garden itself, as well as the benefits of gardening to both the gardener and the community.
