Who's behind this whole Northscaping thing?
Well, there's...
James (Jim) Kohut
President
James is the inspiration and visionary behind the Northscaping concept. He's an experienced business executive who has served in senior management capacities in the private sector for over 15 years. An engineering technologist and software developer by trade, he is also an accomplished public speaker, having appeared on national television and presented at major conventions and seminars across North America. He is a self-taught landscape designer and hobby gardener who has designed and installed numerous landscapes in the harsh zone 3 environment of the eastern Prairies. He's an avid collector of exotic "out-of-zone" trees and shrubs, so much so that his yard has literally run out of space, forcing him to tactfully "borrow" the neighbors' landscapes (to their benefit, of course). A seasoned landscaping and gardening writer, he has written numerous articles for the Northscaping Info Zone, he has a regular column in Northern Gardener magazine, and is the Guest Editor for The Prairie Garden 2007, an annual publication for northern gardeners. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Trees! Winnipeg. James has only one aspiration in life, and that's to have Northscaping touch the lives and yards of every homeowner and gardener in the North.

???
Director of Sales & Marketing
???
Director of Technology
There are two other members of the core Northscaping Team who prefer to remain behind the scenes, hard at work making Northscaping a phenomenon in the internet world of landscaping and gardening. The Director of Sales & Marketing, who shall remain anonymous, is a true marketing genius with a knack for making businesses successful using innovative and often unconventional methods. The Director of Technology, whose name shall not be mentioned, is a diehard "techie" and programming guru with incredible application development talents. He admittedly doesn't know a thing about plants, and doesn't really care, either. Without their contributions, Northscaping simply wouldn't be possible. You'll just have to trust that they really do exist!
Now, aren't you glad you asked?
